The Moreton Bay Colleges are seeking an experienced and dynamic educational leader for a 5‑year fixed‑term appointment as Deputy Head of Secondary (Teaching & Learning).

This senior role works closely with the Head of Secondary to lead pedagogy, curriculum and academic programs across Years 7–12.

About The Role

Lead teaching and learning, pedagogy and curriculum design across the Secondary School.
Oversee assessment, reporting, academic data and QCAA compliance.
Manage the work of key academic staff.
Support student pathways, subject selection, academic counselling and timetabling.
Contribute to P–12 strategic planning as part of the College Leadership Team.
Act as a role model for high‑quality instructional practice.

About You

Strong knowledge of QCAA and ACARA requirements.
Expertise in curriculum, assessment and evidence‑informed teaching practice.
Excellent communication, ICT capability and data‑analysis skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead whole‑school pedagogical improvement.
Commitment to coaching, staff development and collaborative leadership.
