About The Role
As a key member of our team, you'll help shape the development and well-being of young children at our childcare centre. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and dynamic environment. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, we can offer flexible working arrangements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 2-5 years
- Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate, engaging learning experiences
- Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to inform their learning plans
- Fostering a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment to promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community
- Collaborating with your colleagues to enhance educational programs and practices
- Complying with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification)
- Proven experience as an early childhood educator, particularly in a long day care or preschool setting
- Strong knowledge of child development, early learning frameworks, and best practices in education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and staff
- A collaborative team player who is adaptable and proactive
- Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children
- Current First Aid certification, including CPR and Anaphylaxis management
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
