We are seeking TWO dynamic Principal Engagement and Communication Officers to lead key communication projects and support strategic communications planning across Registration Services.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the branch's leadership team to design and implement effective engagement and communication activities.
Your focus will be on promoting the branch's services, performance, and activities to key stakeholders, ensuring clear and impactful messaging.

Your Role
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative engagement and communication strategies for the team and its activities and services, to ensure alignment with best practice regulatory performance.
- Work collaboratively with the Director to deliver engagement and communication activities, develop strong affiliations with key stakeholders, ensuring the activities, services and performance of the Branch are well understood.
Responsibilities Include
- Building and maintaining cooperative and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to promote trust and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the regulatory frameworks across the Branch.
- Developing quality and consistent communications for the Branch's stakeholders which is appropriately tailored for the relevant audience, including reviewing and preparing content for policies, procedures, templates, correspondence and websites, in order to build understanding of regulatory compliance and transparency of Branch operations.
- Leading strategic projects for the Branch and develop and implement a plan for any policy, procedure, template and website changes needed to implement legislation changes, including a plan for transitioning workflows and preparing and undertaking communications with staff and stakeholders regarding the changes and implications.
- Preparing and reviewing communication materials, including briefings, reports, presentations, submissions, media responses and correspondence, and assisting with responses to complex and critical matters.
- Developing a genuine understanding of stakeholder groups and their communication preferences and incorporate into an overall engagement and communication strategy for the Branch.
