Victoria University (
VU) is seeking a passionate and experienced Associate Director Student Recruitment to lead dynamic recruitment strategies and programs for both higher education (HE) and TAFE.

About The Role
Reporting to the Director Student Recruitment, Associate Director Student Recruitment has a key role in developing and delivering VU’s student recruitment strategies, annual calendars, programs and activities.
As a visionary leader, you will drive strategic and operational initiatives across all areas related to prospective students, with a particular focus on high schools, current VE students, and prospective Postgraduate students—and their key influencers. Your role will be pivotal in building and leading high-performance teams, empowering staff through ongoing development, coaching, and fostering a culture of success and growth.
You will ensure efficient collaboration with VU’s internal business units as well external stakeholders to maximise the promotion of university courses and study options to the target audiences.

About You

- Extensive experience in and working knowledge of contemporary student recruitment strategies
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and operational leadership across functions
- Demonstrated ability to monitor expenditure and ensure effective utilisation of budget allocations to meet objectives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), influencing and negotiation skills,
- Excellent presentation and report writing skills, with ability to develop insight dashboards and provide accurate and well-presented reports on complex issues.

This full-time role is being offered on continuing basis with a competitive base salary plus 17% superannuation contribution together with other benefits and flexible working options.
