About The Role
Are you passionate about community education and ready to make a real impact? LifeFlight is seeking an enthusiastic Community Education Lead to help drive our life-saving programs forward.
In this key role, you’ll support the delivery and growth of our community education initiatives — including the flagship First Minutes Matter trauma training program. Working closely with our Business Manager - Community Education and Senior Medical Educator, you’ll ensure high-quality training while supporting day-to-day operations and broader strategic goals.
You’ll play a vital part in expanding program reach, building strong stakeholder relationships, supporting a dedicated educator team, and ensuring program quality and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities Include
Event Coordination - Provide logistical coordination of First Minutes Matter and other education sessions and events across Queensland, ensuring content is current and clinically aligned.
Support Operations - Oversee logistics, scheduling, venues, and equipment to ensure smooth and professional delivery of workshops.
Engage Stakeholders - Build strong relationships with community groups, councils, partners, and internal teams; represent LifeFlight at events and outreach activities.
Support the Team - Foster a positive team culture and provide practical and professional support to Medical Educators, including access to clinical and training resources.
Continuous Improvement - Gather feedback, track program outcomes, and help continuously improve delivery and engagement.
Promote and Report - Inform marketing and media efforts, share success stories, and support reporting, KPIs, and budget alignment
About You
We’re looking for a motivated, community-minded professional who brings both heart and capability to the role.
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You Have
- 3+ years’ experience in admin, education, or community engagement
- A background in program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team support, ideally in the nonprofit or community sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging diverse audiences and producing reports or proposals
- Strong ability to maintain budgets, financial reporting, and operational coordination skills
- A talent for building community partnerships and tailoring programs to meet local needs
Bonus points for:
- Qualifications in education or community development
- Experience in program evaluation and learning management systems
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital reporting platforms
