Chisholm is seeking an experienced and student-focused VCE/VM Teacher, with a numeracy method, or Maths VCE subject.

About The Role
As a teacher, VCE/VM your key responsibilities include:
- Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners.
- Ensure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, standards including Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority (VCAA) VCE VM curriculum and study design requirements.
- Enhance the student experience to improve engagement early on and assist learners to interact with their academic and social environment to prevent attrition and encourage success.
- Understand VCAA course requirements and develop responsive, innovative educational solutions for learners.
- Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
Qualifications Required For The Role
- Approved tertiary qualification in Education with a major in a VCE VM related discipline or disciplines.
- Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Professional qualifications relevant to delivery of VCE VM core strands of study.
- A record of VCE VM Competency, mapped to VCE VM Core Units engaged to deliver.
- A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current VCE VM teaching knowledge.
