About The Role
As Deputy Principal, you will play a key role in advancing the Department's vision by leading initiatives that improve student outcomes, strengthen teaching practices, and foster a positive and inclusive school culture. Working alongside a committed and collaborative executive team, you will help shape and implement the strategic direction of Proserpine State High School. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a high-performing school community that values student achievement, staff development, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
As the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
