Middle Leadership Position - Full-time, ongoing, commencing in 2026
All Hallows’ School, a Catholic Mercy school for girls from Years 5–12, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader to join our community as
Head of Years 7 & 8.
As Head of Years 7 & 8, you will lead the academic care of students across both cohorts, promoting a culture of scholarship, engagement, and personal growth through targeted support for individuals and groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that All Hallows' School's Mercy values and ethos permeate all aspects of pedagogy, curriculum and academic care.
- Provides academic and pastoral care to Years 7 & 8 students through the School’s Student Wellbeing Framework and Positive Behaviours Strategy.
- Monitor academic progress by identifying and addressing individual and group academic care matters within Years 7 and 8.
- Support cohorts to develop the scholarship skills and dispositions needed at different ages and stages of development.
- Support the Leadership Team in educational leadership by participating in decision-making processes.
Role Requirements
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority syllabuses and processes and Australian Curriculum frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic education in the Mercy tradition.
