The role:
Applications are invited from outstanding secondary teachers who have 5+ years of leadership experience within a PDHPE/HMS department.
This position is permanent full-time, commencing in Term 1, 2026.
- Initial 3-year tenure as HOD.
- Attracts a Level 2 Leadership Allowance.
- Accountability across P-12.
- Leads a dynamic team of 9.
- NB - Saturday sport is not a requirement of this role.
The ideal candidate:
- NESA-qualified to teach in NSW.
- Demonstrated experience in faculty leadership.
- Demonstrated success delivering Stage 6 curriculum.
- Exposure to IB Sport Science highly regarded.
- Open-minded and forward-thinking in pedagogical and pastoral practice.
- A confident and communicative team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.
