Woody Point Special School and Woody Point Early Childhood Development Program are located at Woody Point on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
We provide high quality educational programs for students with disability who live on the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding areas. Students at Woody Point engage in a range of learning programs designed specifically to meet their individual learning needs.
We strive to put our students and their learning at the centre of all the decisions that we make and provide programs that are engaging, relevant, stimulating and fun.
Step Into Your Next Chapter
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community through the school special education program (SEP) or early childhood development program (ECDP) to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
