As the Deputy Principal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of your school by driving excellence in education and fostering a vibrant learning community. You will lead initiatives to improve student outcomes, ensuring every learner reaches their full potential through high-quality teaching and learning practices. With a focus on collaboration and growth, you will support teachers in refining their craft, while nurturing strong, positive relationships among students, staff, parents, and the wider community to create an inclusive, inspiring environment where everyone can thrive.
Your Responsibilities
As the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
