We invite applications from dynamic and passionate
Mathematic Teachers to be an integral member of our Mathematics faculty. Commencing Term 1, 2026, and reporting to the Head of Mathematics, we have an ongoing full-time position.
At Trinity Grammar, our Mathematics Faculty provides our students with every opportunity to achieve a high level of success at VCE but also to explore areas of Mathematics that sit beyond the standard curriculum. For our students, there is also a strong focus on problem solving and ample opportunities to excel in extension classes, coding and through a wide range of competitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching Mathematics Years 7-11
- Experience using digital technologies in the teaching of Mathematics
- Plan, develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Ability to demonstrate effective teaching practices across different year levels
- Provide continuous feedback to students and maintain accurate records of progress
- Actively participate in school events, meetings, and co-curricular activities as needed
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students thrive
About You
- Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) or undertaking a Master of Teaching and seeking an internship in Mathematics
- Ability to teach VCE
- A strong background in teaching mathematics
- Aptitude for the use of technology for teaching and learning
- Outstanding knowledge of the subject curriculum
- Skilled in creating meaningful connections with students and colleagues
- Have a passion for introducing fresh, innovative teaching methods that inspire young minds
- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and creatively with others to improve the quality of programs and enhance student outcomes
Our teachers are expected to participate in and support our commitment to our students to ensure they have a well-rounded school experience encompassing curriculum, co-curricular and pastoral care in addition to participating in our sporting program through coaching and managing sport teams.
