The ideal principal will lead an improvement agenda built around innovation, quality teaching and learning, inclusive practices and strong community partnerships.
This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 1 March 2026 until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

Your opportunity
Harristown State High School is a large, inclusive secondary school in Toowoomba, committed to high expectations, strong community partnerships, and positive student outcomes. The school offers a broad curriculum with academic, vocational, and wellbeing pathways that support diverse learners to succeed beyond school.
As a key leadership role, the Principal (Level 8) will provide strategic and instructional leadership, working closely with an experienced executive team to drive continuous improvement, strengthen staff capability, and foster a culture of engagement, respect, and achievement.
