Synopsis:
Haileybury welcomes applications for the role of VCE Media Teacher to join our Senior School team at the Keysborough campus. This is a Full-Time, Fixed-Term (1.0 FTE) position, from 23 February 2026 to 31 December 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and support students in their learning journey within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
As the VCE Media Teacher, you will:
- Deliver curriculum using best practice pedagogy and our Haileybury Explicit Instruction Model.
- Stay current with modern teaching methods and relevant frameworks.
- Build positive relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community.
- Use varied assessment tasks to support student success and measure achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, assessments, and learning opportunities.
- Engage in sharing best practice across campus.
- Use digital tools and LMS to enhance teaching.
- Attend relevant professional development.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, including sport, the Arts, and outdoor programs.
- Maintain accurate classroom attendance records.
- Administer assessments, provide feedback, and write reports as required.
- Attend meetings, supervise students, and participate in parent/teacher interviews as needed.

- Strong knowledge of subject content and pedagogy.
- Proficient in the use of technology.
- Experience of working with children from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background.
- VIT registration or ability to obtain such registration and current Criminal Record Check.
- Excellent, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
