Role Description
This is a part time 0.4 FTE and a casual on-site role for a Visual Art Teacher based in Adelaide, SA. The Visual Art Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging art lessons, fostering creativity, and guiding students in developing their artistic skills. Responsibilities include teaching various art techniques, organizing projects and exhibitions, and providing constructive feedback. Additionally, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues to integrate art and creativity into the broader curriculum, and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in drawing, Painting, and Graphics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to guide and inspire students
- Demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans and adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Relevant academic qualifications / experience in Visual Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Prior teaching experience, particularly in visual arts education, is a plus
- A passion for art and education, with a commitment to fostering creativity and student growth
- Valid Working with Children Check & Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care
