Just a short 10-minute drive north of Cardwell and 20 minutes south of Tully, our small school provides an inclusive, supportive learning environment with multi-age classes.

As Head of Department - Curriculum, you will lead the delivery of the Department of Education's Brighter Futures priorities by ensuring every student develops strong foundational skills in literacy and numeracy, with a clear and explicit focus on reading within our inclusive, multi-age learning environment.
This position includes a teaching load, providing the opportunity to lead curriculum improvement while remaining closely connected to classroom practice.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
