Your Role
As the Head of Department - Senior Schooling & Pathways you are responsible for leading the tracking of all senior students, QCAA liaison & data capture, Year 9 - 12 Pathways (Career Education, Respectful relationships & wellbeing), student management & support of Year 11 & 12 students.
This unique opportunity includes the development of partnerships across campuses, promoting the school through academic achievement, signature pathways & extra-curricular activities. This role gives you the opportunity to work in collaboration with Heads of Departments across both Pomona and Cooroy Campuses.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
