The Opportunity
- Part-Time 0.2 EFT (Wednesdays) | Fixed-Term contract of employment until October 2026
- TL $89,536 - $126,983 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Moorabbin Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport
Join our Lifestyle, Tourism and Events department as a Beauty Services Teacher delivering VDSS programs, where you’ll teach secondary school students in a supportive, hands-on learning environment. You’ll deliver daytime beauty services training on Wednesdays, sharing industry-relevant skills while supporting early career exploration and pathway development.

As a Teacher – Beauty Services, You Will
- Deliver engaging training for the VDSS SHB30121 Certificate III in Beauty Services program, providing students with practical skills and industry knowledge across key areas such as manicures, pedicures, makeup, eyelash extensions, cosmetic tanning, waxing, and lash and brow treatments.
- Develop and maintain high-quality curriculum, teaching resources, and assessment tools that meet RTO standards and support diverse learner needs.
- Provide personalised support, feedback, and guidance to students, monitoring progress and fostering independent learning and skill development.
- Maintain industry connections and integrate current practices into training and uphold professional standards, comply with regulations, and engage in ongoing professional development.
To Be Successful, You’ll Have
- Current industry expertise in beauty services and experience delivering vocational education and assessment.
- Proven ability to develop engaging learning resources and support diverse learners to achieve outcomes.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications.
- Relevant approved vocational qualification at or above the level being delivered (e.g., Certificate III in Beauty Services or Diploma).
- WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
