About The Centre
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Lucas is a newly opened childcare centre in the City of Ballarat. It is located within the new Lucas master-planned community and situated next to parks and sporting facilities. It is also a 3-minute drive from Lucas Primary School, making it a convenient location for families.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity and the first of its kind in Ballarat. We are looking for an experienced educator (Diploma or ECT) who thrives on delivering and preparing Children for the fundamental years at Kinder and preparing them for a lifelong love of learning.

The successful candidate will aspire and thrive for new heights in the delivery of quality education. This role requires a team player that is insightful and can drive our kinder program with their unique skills and talents.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Diploma, Graduate Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education with current VIT registration. (With at least 2 years MINIMUM experience)
- First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Handlers Certificate
Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Lesson planning and record keeping skills
- Classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
Experience
- 2 Years of proven experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of VEYLDF and NQS
- Demonstrated capacity to enhance children’s experiences
Responsibilities
- Planning and structuring learning in both indoor and outdoor environments using a variety of materials
and equipment to facilitate students’ development
- Marketing and implementing the educational program and achieving quality learning outcomes
- Providing a variety of experiences and activities to develop social skills, confidence and understanding
- Promoting language development through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes and informal discussions
held individually and within groups
- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
- Observing students to evaluate progress and to detect signs of ill health, emotional disturbances and
other disabilities and keeping records of children’s progress, routines and interests
- Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families, and team members
- Building connections with the local community
- Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices
