Royal North Shore and Ryde Hospitals Podiatry and High Risk Foot Service
Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
What You'll Be Doing
The Team Leader works in collaboration with the Head of Department to provide operational, clinical, and professional leadership within Podiatry and High Risk Foot Services across RNSH and Ryde Hospitals. This role is responsible for delivering advanced clinical care, coordinating multidisciplinary clinics, supervising staff, and driving service innovation.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
- Must hold qualifications recognised for registration with Podiatry Board of Australia. Recent, extensive and varied postgraduate clinical experience as a level 2 Podiatrist or above.
- Demonstrated experience in managing clinic operations, including scheduling, resource management, and optimising patient flow, while maintaining administrative systems to support quality improvement and research activities.
- Experience in leading quality improvement initiatives, contributing to policy development, and implementing innovative care models to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Proven experience in collecting, analysing, and reporting service data to support decision-making, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and preparing operational and performance reports.
