Requirements
- Current NT Teacher Registration
- Working with Children’s card – Ochre Card
- Support and commitment to the Catholic ethos of St Francis of Assisi
- Knowledge of ICT and the Australian Curriculum
- High level collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Selection Criteria
- Have high expectations about students’ ability to learn.
- A demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission.
- Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning.
- Provide a teaching/learning program that provides for focused/explicit literacy and numeracy teaching that engages all learners.
- Demonstrate a clear commitment to improving the educational outcomes of all students.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with staff, students and families.
- A demonstrated commitment to the pastoral care and welfare of students.
- The ability to differentiate the curriculum in order to meet the individual needs of students.
