Role Description/CriteriaWe are seeking an organised and innovative classroom teacher who can contribute to an environment where learning is visible, engaging and inspiring for all children. The successful applicant must demonstrate a passion for learning and teaching and a commitment to working in a team. This role will work within a team teaching position, in a beautiful hub environment.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:
- A passion for teaching and learning and for building strong positive relationships with children
- an ability to work as a part of a professional learning team and a commitment to engaging in professional dialogue
- an understanding of and a commitment to the MACS 2030 Strategy, including the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.
- a commitment to learning and continuous improvement
- a willingness to embrace contemporary learning and teaching practices
- a commitment to use data effectively in planning for personalised learning
- An ability to foster a classroom culture where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities
- a commitment to creating an environment where the emotional, social and educational wellbeing of students is paramount
- an ability to embrace digital technology and purposefully integrate it into an engaging curriculum
Special RequirementsThe successful applicant must:
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
- include the contact details of 3 referees including current and previous principals
- evidence of personal identity and professional qualifications
- be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or be willing to undertake accreditation studies
- have a strong knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and commitment to Child Safety.
- Be willing to comply with the MACS Child safety code of conduct
- Be willing to promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.
