Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Adelaide, South Australia, for a dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to secondary students, foster a passion for mathematical learning, and provide tailored support to meet individual students’ needs. Additional responsibilities include developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Mathematics, with the ability to teach core and advanced concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in curriculum planning, lesson development, and assessing student outcomes in line with educational standards.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills, fostering an inspiring and inclusive learning environment.
- Commitment to the holistic development of students, with the ability to encourage curiosity and critical thinking.
- Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the South Australian Teacher Registration Board.
- Experience teaching secondary school students is highly desirable.
- A passion for education and an understanding of Westminster’s philosophy of Adventurous Education.
