Your New Role
This role exists to provide central support for the software used in our schools that support student learning and wellbeing. This software includes the student information system Compass, which is critical for school operations, student wellbeing and school governance functions. Other software will include student learning management systems and other educational software.
The Learning Systems Support Officer must understand school administration and wellbeing processes and will work closely with the Enterprise Learning Systems Leader to support improvements to learning systems and processes. This is a critical role in ensuring the continuity and quality of those important processes in schools, and will engage with school administration and teaching staff to ensure processes are well understood and followed, which is pivotal in supporting student learning, wellbeing and reporting requirements.
The Learning Systems Officer will assist with the review and development of changes to systems and associated processes and the development of communications, processes, training resources and provide training and coaching to end users. They will provide system administration functions, such as user access management, functional reporting, configuration management, testing system changes and upgrades. The role will support the end users by responding to queries about using the systems and associated business processes.

- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Working With Children Check
- Successful candidate will undergo a National Criminal History Check
Essential Skills And Experience
- School Administration Officer, Teacher, or School Learning Support Officer experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience creating, organising and presenting information in documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Highly defined analytical, problem solving ability.
- Demonstrated experience of training and/or supporting system change.
- Proven experience in change management, mentoring and coaching colleagues.
- Compass student information system experience (highly desired)
- Experience in using, maintaining or supporting learning systems, or equivalent experience maintaining or supporting other systems (highly desired)
- Willing to complete an Accreditation for Support Staff (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga).
- Ability to travel overnight if required.
