About the Role
As Assistant Principal, you will lead teaching excellence, foster staff development, and build a strong school community. You will need excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Requirements of the role:
- postgraduate or Master’s in Leadership, Religion, Theology, or Education
- ability to drive a high-performance, improvement-focused school culture
- able to lead with Gospel values and contribute to the Church’s mission
- experienced in overseeing staff induction, development, and performance
- promotes religious leadership and parish partnerships
- an exemplary classroom practitioner with the ability to model and lead effective teaching and learning strategies
- skilled at strengthening school and system-wide networks
- the requirements of (Category E) in the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach and Lead or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract term
- demonstrated success in leading evidence-informed teaching and learning initiatives that improve student growth and excellence
- proven ability to build teacher expertise through instructional coaching, collaborative inquiry and data-informed professional learning.
