The Pathways Pillar encompasses responsibility for student wellbeing and conduct in year 11 and 12. The role is multi-faceted with oversight of all components of senior schooling.
This includes an innovative approach to a compressed senior for QCAA General subjects, a vibrant VET program, supervising RTO status for partner schools and an alternative schooling program for disengaged students from year 7 to 12.
Responsibilities Include
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
