Position: Pre-Primary Homeroom Teacher

Job Description
The Pre-Primary Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for nurturing and educating young learners by creating a safe, joyful, and stimulating learning environment. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves implementing an age-appropriate early years curriculum through play-based and experiential learning, supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, maintaining effective communication with parents, and fostering a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
The Role
- Teach Pre-Primary students (Nursery, LKG, and UKG) using play-based and experiential learning approaches
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support language, numeracy, motor, cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents
- Manage homeroom responsibilities, including attendance, classroom routines, and student documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and professional development programmes
- Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, and assessment practices while fostering positive values, independence, and good habits in young learners
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Diploma or Certification in Early Childhood Education (Mandatory)
- 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in Pre-Primary or Early Years programmes
- Sound knowledge of phonics and early literacy instruction
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
