The role

As one of our casual Early Childhood Teachers, you'll play a key leadership role in designing and delivering a high-quality, child-centred curriculum that reflects our service philosophy and the National Quality Framework. You'll mentor and support Educators, foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, and help shape a learning environment where every child feels safe, respected, empowered, and inspired to thrive. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the delivery of a high-quality, child-centred educational program aligned with the National Quality Framework and Approved Learning Frameworks.
- Champion child safety, wellbeing, inclusion, and diversity, ensuring every child feels safe, respected, and supported.
- Mentor, guide, and inspire educators to deliver engaging learning experiences and maintain high-quality educational documentation.
- Observe, assess, and plan meaningful learning opportunities that support each child's growth, development, and individual needs.
- Build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and colleagues to create positive learning outcomes.
- Provide professional leadership across the service, including stepping into the Centre Director role when required.

You will have
- Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved/recognised qualification)
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Significant Harm
- Current approved Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Current CPR certificate
- Completed National Mandatory Training
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in providing quality learning experience and environments for young children
- Demonstrated knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations and high-level knowledge of current child protection legislation
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing the National Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place, National Quality Standard and Child Safe Standards.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children’s learning.
- Ability to relate effectively to children and their families and to be attuned and responsive.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Developed communication and inter-personal skills.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $53.4763 per hour (Grade G, Step1) + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
