Secondary Teachers | Part-Time & Full Time | Commencing January 2027Charlton Christian College is an independent K–12 co-educational Christian school located in Lake Macquarie. Due to continued growth, we are seeking enthusiastic and suitably qualified Secondary Teachers to join our team across Years 7–12 commencing January 2027. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Appointments will initially be offered on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of ongoing employment.

Selection CriteriaPlease address the following selection criteria in your cover letter:– A personal Christian faith, regular church attendance and willingness to support the College’s Statement of Faith– Understanding of, and commitment to, child safety in an educational setting– Current NSW Working with Children Check and NESA-recognised teaching qualifications and accreditation (or provisional registration)– Ability to integrate a Christian perspective into curriculum and classroom practice– Evidence of the following behavioural competencies:
- Working with People – Builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues; shows empathy and contributes to a supportive team environment.
- Adhering to Principles & Values – Demonstrates integrity and upholds the Christian ethos of the College.

If applying for the VET Entertainment position, relevant industry experience and/or teaching qualifications for VET Entertainment are required. This position will deliver the VET Entertainment course
one afternoon per week across the calendar year for
4 – 5 hour session blocks (typically from 1 – 5 pm). Afternoon may be negotiable.
Salary & ConditionsSalary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement and will be determined based on experience.
