About The Role
We are seeking a passionate VCE Psychology and Science / Mathematics Teacher to join our Middle and Senior School teams, in a progressive, supportive and well-resourced educational environment. Applications from early career teachers and experienced teachers are warmly welcomed.
Working alongside a collaborative team of experienced educators, you will deliver engaging curriculum to our Psychology students in Years 10 - 12, alongside Science / Mathematics for students in Years 7-10. This role requires an enthusiastic practitioner with a genuine passion for scientific inquiry, evidence based pedagogy, and driving strong VCE academic outcomes, while supporting the broader development of our students.
This is a full time (FTE 1.0) permanent ongoing position, commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2027.
In addition, all teaching staff are required to participate in one season of the AGSV Sports Program, either through coaching or managing a sporting team, as part of their broader responsibilities at Camberwell Grammar School. This role also involves additional co-curricular responsibilities, including Year Level Camps and the Friday Activities Program, and encompasses pastoral care responsibilities.
About You
You are a passionate educator who brings energy, sound evidence based pedagogical approaches and expertise to the Psychology and Science / Mathematics curriculum. You possess strong knowledge of the current VCE Psychology study design and the Year 7-10 Science or Mathematics curriculum, with a deep commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment and ensuring all students are supported to thrive.

You Will Also Have
- Relevant teaching qualifications in Psychology and Science / Mathematics Education.
- Current Teacher Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Demonstrated ability, or potential for early career teachers, to support VCE Psychology students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
- The capacity to plan and deliver engaging and purposeful Science / Mathematics learning experiences for students in Years 7-10.
- Anaphylaxis training certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, coupled with the adaptability to respond effectively to changing circumstances.
- A willingness to contribute to pastoral, academic and co-curricular programs, fostering a dynamic learning community committed to the development of the whole person.
