We are seeking passionate and dedicated
Primary School Teachers to join our teaching team at Samaritan College, Whyalla.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging learning programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including the development of Individual Learning Plans where required.
- Create positive, safe, and productive learning environments that support student wellbeing and achievement.
- Use effective classroom management and behaviour to support strategies consistent with school policies.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student learning using a range of assessment practices and reporting methods.
- Maintain accurate student records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and the wider school community.
- Participate in professional learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute positively to the Catholic identity, culture and mission of the school.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current Teacher Registration in South Australia.
- Teacher Accreditation in Catholic Education South Australia, or the ability to obtain accreditation.
- Demonstrated teaching expertise and a strong understanding of contemporary educational practice.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team while showing initiative and sound professional judgement.
- Strong organisational skills and a commitment to achieving positive student outcomes.
- Proficiency in the use of ICT and digital learning technologies.
- A commitment to upholding and contributing to the values, culture and ethos of Catholic education.
- Current Working with Children Clearance and RRHAN-EC certification, or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement.
