Your Opportunity
The Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning position provides strategic leadership for curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and whole-school improvement initiatives to enhance student achievement and engagement.
The role works collaboratively with leaders and teachers to build high-quality teaching practices, drive data-informed decision-making, and implement targeted strategies that improve learning outcomes for all students.
Through instructional leadership, professional learning, and a focus on continuous improvement, the Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning fosters a culture of excellence that supports both student success and staff development.
Responsibilities Include
- Support the Principal in developing and communicating a clear educational vision that promotes positive learning outcomes for all students.
- Act in the Principal's role when required, providing continuity of leadership across the school.
- Demonstrate integrity, ethical decision-making and strong professional values in carrying out the responsibilities of the Deputy Principal.
- Promote and maintain fair, inclusive and socially just practices throughout the school community.
- Establish and maintain high expectations for the achievement, conduct and performance of both students and staff.
