Australian International Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Stage 6 Chemistry Teacher to join our Secondary Teaching team at our North Kellyville Campus.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Chemistry educator who understands the demands of Stage 6 and the HSC and is committed to supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous Chemistry lessons, with a strong focus on HSC preparation, examination technique, syllabus mastery and student achievement.
You will work within a collaborative department that values high-quality teaching, shared practice and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience teaching Stage 6 Chemistry
- HSC Chemistry marking experience – essential
- Current NESA accreditation
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Strong knowledge of the NSW Stage 6 Chemistry syllabus and HSC assessment requirements
- A proven ability to prepare students for HSC examinations and improve academic outcomes
- The ability to analyse student performance data and implement targeted intervention strategies
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to differentiated teaching and supporting students of varying abilities
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider school community
- Commitment to supporting and respecting the Islamic ethos and values of Australian International Academy
