Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning experiences aligned with Melbourne Girls Grammar curriculum frameworks.
- Foster students' literacy and numeracy development while supporting their social and emotional wellbeing.
- Create safe, inclusive and collaborative learning environments that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and work collaboratively within the Junior Years team.
- Integrate digital technologies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
- Uphold Melbourne Girls Grammar's Child Safety policies and practices at all times.
About you
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration, or be eligible to obtain registration.
- A strong understanding of curriculum requirements and contemporary teaching practices.
- The ability to build meaningful and respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families.
- A commitment to innovative, student-centred teaching and learning approaches.
- A collaborative and creative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and positive student outcomes.
