About The Role
Join our teaching community from Monday, 18 January 2027, as a Primary Teacher working with students in Year 6.
We are seeking outstanding educators for two opportunities commencing in January 2027:
- Permanent full-time Year 6 Teacher
- Full-time fixed-term Year 6 Teacher (Semester 1, 2027)
These roles offer the opportunity to inspire curiosity, creativity and a love of learning during an important stage of students' education.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for students in Years 5 and 6.
- Design curriculum and learning experiences that challenge and support students.
- Support student wellbeing through positive relationships and pastoral care.
- Collaborate with colleagues through planning and professional learning.
Skills & Experience
- Strong primary teaching, pedagogical and curriculum development skills.
- Experience teaching, or a strong interest in teaching, students in Years 5 and 6.
- A contemporary vision for teaching and learning.
- Enthusiasm for collaborative education and peer learning.
- Commitment to Mercy values and child safety.
Both experienced and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply.
