ECG is an independent school that provides an alternative pathway towards secondary education for those who want a different learning environment. We help guide students towards their goals and provide them with the skills they need to successfully enter the workforce or pursue further study.

We are excited to continue to provide opportunities for students to access our tailored learning approach from a virtual landscape! But to do this, we need your help!

We are seeking an innovative, tech-savvy teacher to help deliver our new Year 9/10 virtual learning program from our Pakenham Campus.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students, fostering a positive learning environment that promotes personal growth. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver appropriate Year 9/10 learning and assessment materials that are enriching and engaging for students in accordance with the VCAA requirements.
Develop and maintain IEP/ Student Support plans and participate in student care meetings as required.
Participate and contribute to school meetings and professional learning opportunities.
Provision of educational and well-being support to students in a way that is trauma-informed and promotes safety, positive relationships and creates a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

Relevant Teaching Qualification.
VIT Teacher Registration/Permissions to Teach.
Multidisciplinary expertise (desirable).
