Runaway Bay Sport and Leadership Excellence Centre (RBSLEC) are seeking a Program Officer to join their school community on a temporary part-time basis, at 0.87 FTE and 66 hours per fortnight.
Within this role you will be supporting teachers in the delivery of camps at an Outdoor and Environmental Education Centre based at an elite sporting facility. This is a diverse role that involves instructing students in activities and working in the administration team in liaising with visiting schools and organising camp programs.

Our camps utilise this world-class venue, the Runaway Bay sport precinct and the nearby Broadwater to deliver Australian Curriculum aligned sport and leadership development programs to students in Years 4 to 12.

About The Role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting teachers in the the preparation and delivery of a range of outdoor education activities.
- Providing instruction to students in a range of outdoor education activities.
- Liaising with visiting schools in the planning phase of their outdoor education camp program.
- Communicating with different stakeholders to book facilities required to deliver programs.
- A range of administrative duties required for maintaining centre operations.
About You
Skills and experiences:
- Experience working with students.
- Ability to effectively support students participation and engagement in an outdoor-based program.
- Strong administration skills including experience in working extensively with Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
