ECTARC Training Services, awarded the 2022 NSW Large training provider of the year, is a leading, dynamic, registered training organisation that specialises in early childhood training and professional development across Australia. About The Role
ECTARC is a not-for-profit organisation and has a proud history of providing high quality education and training services to the early childhood education and care sector.
We are seeking an excellent, positive communicator to work as a Training and Development Officer in a passionate and capable team that is committed to supporting and enriching the educational and employment outcomes of our students. In this role you will work collaboratively to train and support students studying early childhood and school aged education and care qualifications and present professional development programs across NSW.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood (or equivalent) or CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and currently enrolled in an upgrade program.
- 5 years’ experience working in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven time management, administrative and computer skills
- Ability to work evenings as required
- Ability to travel throughout NSW
- Current full driver’s licence
Desirable Criteria
- Working towards a degree in early childhood education (if not already held)
- Experience working as a trainer and assessor in the VET sector
- Qualifications and experience in school aged education and care
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Experience presenting professional development to teams
