About The Role
As the Head of Department, you will lead curriculum initiatives aligned with both school and departmental priorities, support the vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, enhance the quality of teaching and learning, and foster strong, positive relationships among students, teachers, and key stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department - Languages, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the Languages faculty (Japanese and German) to provide high quality outcomes for students.
- Implement a whole-school framework for global citizenship, ensuring alignment with the school's strategic priorities.
- Establish and lead a Global Citizenship Leadership Program for students.
- Lead the International Student Program for strategic, operational and compliance outcomes.
- Oversee and expand international study tours, exchange programs and virtual collaborations with schools abroad.
- Lead teacher exchanges or collaborative projects with international schools.
