About The Role
As a Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering quality education by supporting teachers in the preparation and delivery of engaging learning materials and activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support for students with specialised learning and behavioural needs.
- Assist with literacy, numeracy, and other classroom activities.
- Support teachers and students during sports, excursions, and extracurricular programs.
- Help prepare, store, and organise teaching materials and equipment.
- Provide clerical assistance, including typing and photocopying.
- Supervise students in the playground, on buses, and during other activities.
- Promote student wellbeing by contributing to their health, safety, and welfare, including providing first aid if required.
- Assist with practical activities such as science, textiles, and cooking.
- Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
