We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Years Teacher to join our dynamic Junior School team. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences that align with the PYP framework and the School’s Christian values.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and assess learning programs in line with the IB PYP and NSW curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports student agency and inquiry.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning.
- Engage positively with students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School.
Essential Criteria
- Teaching qualifications recognised in NSW and current NESA accreditation.
- A commitment to girls’ education and the Christian ethos of the School.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and professional growth.
Desirable
- IB PYP training or experience in an IB World School.
- Experience with inquiry-based and concept-driven learning.
