Our Head of Department Curriculum plays a pivotal role in shaping a curriculum that is responsive to the lives of our young people and contributed to the pursuit of increasing a sense of safety, connection and belonging at Nerang State School.
Facilitating curriculum design and building staff capability in curriculum design creates a staff of agile curriculum experts who contribute to planning at all levels and drive effective implementation into the classroom.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.

- Experience in leading curriculum, pedagogy, or student engagement initiatives will be highly regarded.
