Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate programs
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development
- Write and maintain detailed observations of children’s progress and milestones
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Collaborate with a professional team to maintain a cohesive, supportive workplace
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a Long Day Care setting
- Strong understanding of programming, curriculum development, and the EYLF
- Knowledge of early childhood regulations and frameworks
- Current First Aid/Asthma Management certification
- Current Working With Children Check & Child Protection Certificate
- Ability to provide current professional references
- Confident using technology for educational purposes
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching (ECT) qualification
