The successful candidate will teach across Years 7–12, deliver high-quality curriculum mapping and assessment in line with NESA and IB frameworks, and contribute to the broader co-curricular life of the School.
Key Responsibilities
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and current NESA accreditation to teach Secondary PDHPE in NSW.
- Successful experience teaching Stages 4, 5 PDHPE and Stage 6 Health and Movement Science with a strong understanding of NESA syllabi, assessment practices and data-informed improvement.
- Experience with or the willingness to teach Community and Family Studies.
- A strong grasp of contemporary teaching techniques, with the ability to integrate ICT effectively to enhance learning.
- A willingness to engage with new technologies and to develop expertise in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP).
- A sound understanding of girls’ education and the capacity to promote high academic achievement through differentiated, well-structured learning programs.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work productively as part of an energetic faculty team.
- Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to meet deadlines for programming, assessment and reporting.
- A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the School, including sport, camps, parent events and student activities.
About You
- Relevant teaching qualifications and accreditation with NESA.
- Experience teaching PDHPE in secondary school settings.
- Familiarity with the IB MYP framework (or willingness to undertake training).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school.
