POSITION
All teachers are appointed by the CEO and Executive Principal of MBC and MBBC and they are responsible to them for the over-all performance of their duties. The CEO and Executive Principal delegates their authority to senior staff members for the effective management of the College. This role will report directly to the Head of Primary.
The College offers a very broad program in sporting, musical and pastoral activities which are designed to enhance the holistic development of the students. Staff are expected to participate in the co-curricular program of the College. By participating in the College’s co-curricular program it is recognised that a teacher is contributing to the mission and ethos of the College.
All staff need to be supportive of the values, Christian ethos and Ethical Statement of this Uniting Church day school for girls from EL-12.

- An interest or experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program would be an advantage.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
The Classroom Teacher
- Must hold an appropriate tertiary qualification – Bachelor Degree in Education.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
CONDITIONS AND SALARY
- Full-time Fixed term position to cover a secondment from for 2026.
- Teacher classification as per Moreton Bay College Enterprise Agreement 2025.

- Sick Leave entitlement of 10 days annually or upon commencement for Early Careers Teachers.
- Additional leave for Exceptional Circumstances including Reproductive Health, natural disasters and infectious disease
