This role is about more than leadership — it’s about impact. Working alongside the Principal and College leadership, the Deputy Principal plays a key role in driving strategic direction, strengthening culture, and ensuring excellence in teaching, learning and student wellbeing across the College. As part of senior leadership, the role contributes to whole-college leadership, community presence and strategic decision making.
Deputy Principals in Victorian Catholic secondary schools are senior leaders whose classification reflects the scale and complexity of the school environment, with Category A roles aligned to secondary settings and enrolment-based leadership structures.
