The Moreton Bay Colleges are seeking an experienced and dynamic educational leader for a
5‑year fixed‑term appointment as
Deputy Head of Secondary (Teaching & Learning).
This senior role works closely with the Head of Secondary to lead pedagogy, curriculum and academic programs across Years 7–12.
About The Role
- Lead teaching and learning, pedagogy and curriculum design across the Secondary School.
- Oversee assessment, reporting, academic data and QCAA compliance.
- Manage the work of key academic staff.
- Support student pathways, subject selection, academic counselling and timetabling.
- Contribute to P–12 strategic planning as part of the College Leadership Team.
- Act as a role model for high‑quality instructional practice.
About You
- Strong knowledge of QCAA and ACARA requirements.
- Expertise in curriculum, assessment and evidence‑informed teaching practice.
- Excellent communication, ICT capability and data‑analysis skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead whole‑school pedagogical improvement.
- Commitment to coaching, staff development and collaborative leadership.
