Saints Academy is seeking a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor to lead our pioneering program that transforms after-school care into intentional, unhurried learning experiences. Role Overview
Position: Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor
Weekly Hours: 0.8 FTE = 30 per week (flexible work arrangements can be considered)
Reports to: Head of Saints Academy
Direct Reports: Educators

The Director leads daily operations at Saints Academy, ensuring an inspiring, safe, and high‑quality learning environment. The role blends educational leadership, team development, and operational management within an innovative after‑school program focused on curiosity, nature, wellbeing, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities
- Educational Program: Design and implement programs aligned with Saints Academy philosophy, National Quality Standards (NQS), and My Time, Our Place Framework.
- Compliance: Maintain best practice across all 7 NQS Quality Areas.
- Operational Leadership: Manage staffing ratios, budgets, enrolments, and risk management.
- Staff Development: Lead and mentor educators, foster reflective practice, and ensure professional growth.
- Family Engagement: Build strong partnerships with families and local services.
- Health & Safety: Implement WHS practices, emergency procedures, and child protection standards.
Skills and Experiences:
We are looking for:
- A visionary Christian leader, teacher or educator who values creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- A willingness to learn and implement the National Quality Framework, National Law, and Regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Working with Children Check
- Certified Police Check (recent)
- ACECQA-approved First Aid, Child Protection, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (short-course training; will be discussed during application process).
