Ormeau Woods State High School is seeking a dynamic and highly capable Deputy Principal to join our leadership tea. This is a temporary full-time position for a period of 6 months, unless otherwise determined. We are looking for an outstanding educational leader with the vision, expertise, and drive to strengthen Senior Schooling and lead quality assurance processes across our secondary school. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of QCE, ATAR processes and senior requirements.

Ormeau Woods State High School has been part of the community since its opening in 2009. Starting with just 250 students in Years 8 and 9, the school has grown to include students from Years 7 to 12, with most coming from local feeder schools: Norfolk Village State School, Ormeau State School, and Woongoolba State School.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Drive whole-school quality assurance processes across senior subjects.
- Lead and enhance pedagogy, with a strong focus on extending highly able students across general subjects.
- Oversee exam timetables, including implementation of AARA policies and procedures.
- Take accountability for ATAR subject outcomes and senior achievement data.
- Work collaboratively with faculty leaders to improve teaching practice and student performance.
