Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated
Early Childhood Teacher /Educational Leader to join the foundation team at Mini Masterminds. This is a
hands on, on the floor role where you will work closely with educators each day, leading by example and driving best practice in early education.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of educators through on-the-floor mentoring, collaboration, and support.
- Model and guide best-practice early childhood education in daily routines and program implementation.
- Develop and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs that nurture each child’s growth, curiosity, and development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture focused on high-quality care and education.
- Build strong relationships with families and the community, promoting involvement and Excels’ values.
- Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are consistently met and upheld.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- At least 6 months’ experience as an Educational Leader or in a leadership capacity
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and inspire educators on the floor
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Child Protection training/certificate
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and professional development
